We had a Fabulous Halloween this year...both girls just loved it, and were very into dressing up! Payton wanted to be Minnie Mouse, her most favorite character in the world. In fact today I overheard her having a conversation on the play phone with Minnie...so cute! Presley was Rapunzel, which is really no shocker to anyone who knows her. We only hit up about three streets worth of trick or treating....perfect for us. Payton was finally not scared by about the second street. She'd start to walk up with the big kids, but once they got closer to the door to get the actual candy, she'd turn right back around in one swift motion and say "I scared!" By nights end though she got greedy and yelled at me when I said it was time to go home. "No go home, I want more CANDY!" Funny and ridiculous all at the same time.
We didn't carve pumpkins this year, but did let the girls paint them. I gave them each an array of colors...but somehow they didn't turn out so pretty. So much for harnessing their creative abilities...maybe one day they'll actually use those bright colors for a one of a kind masterpiece. But until that happens, we have to enjoy the gray messes they continually make each and every time I get the paint out!
This holiday season is treating us well thus far and we are all happy, healthy and chubby...thanks to all the cold weather inspired baking...hope you all are feeling the same!
(maybe not chubby, but healthy and happy would be nice right?!)
A few days after Halloween, caught her hiding in a corner sneaking candy...rascal!
Don't my huge/dark eyebrows look amazing with my hair! HA
